Glass items were once very rare, owned and enjoyed only by aristocrats. Glass is now commonplace as a material, but it can still be made into beautiful pieces that glimmer in the light. Glass craft has continuously developed with many different materials and techniques. Hong Glass, however, offers special glass crafting classes for beginners, where they can make everyday items with glass, including wind chimes, spoon rests, tea stirrers, and pendants. Require 2 days advance for the reservation. The program will only be held if there are less than 2 participants. If more than 2 participants have signed up by the day before the program, your reservation will be canceled and you will be refunded in full.


- You can take along the glass items you have made and purchase other glass products on display. - Advance booking is a must, and only those older than 10 can join the classes. - The neighborhood has Mangwon Traditional Market, one of the shooting sites for the SBS TV show, Running Man, and Mangwon-Hangang Area, the riverside park open to the public.

Not Included in this Experience

You can purchase the glass pieces on display on-site. People accompanying you without a reservation are not allowed to participate. Children under 10 years old are not allowed to participate.

Special glass crafting class

This glass crafting class is for beginners, not for professionals. Anyone can join and make their own glass pieces, shaping the glass with a torch or a small kiln and cutting and designing it.

Glass wind chimes jingling in the breeze from the Han River

In the workshop located at Mangwon-Hangang Area, you can make a glass wind chime as well as glass spoon rests, glass tea stirrers, and glass pendants.
